Be sure to call ahead because the museum is open by appointment only.
Malcolm Blue Farm
Malcolm Blue Farm is open for tours and is home to the Historical Crafts and Farmskills Festival and Christmas Open House. The farm gives visitors great insight into what life was like during the 1800s. The grounds are a sight alone as they are shaded with 100-year-old Darlington oaks and include a windmill, gristmill, water well, and several barns. You can schedule a tour by calling the Parks and Recreation Department.

Movies by the Lake
Family movies by the lake are a favorite from July through October. Catch movies on the big screen at Aberdeen Lake Park and don’t forget about the concession stand! This is a free event that happens a few times a year. Here’s what will be showing, but is scheduled to change:

Fun Family Fourth of July
Celebrate the Fourth of July with the Aberdeen community with a night full of live entertainment, food vendors, and activities for everyone. A free Kid Zone will be up and running with bounce houses, inflatable slides, an obstacle course, and more! Bring a blanket and some lawn chairs and catch the fireworks show! The fun kicks off at 5 pm at Aberdeen Lake Park.
